Before you grab the nearest product, ask yourself:
a) What was this product made for? If it wasn’t for carpets, it likely isn't suitable.
b) What does it contain? High levels of soap, sugars, oils, abrasives, solvents can all cause irreversible damage to carpet fibres.
While these products might be fantastic when used as intended, they aren't good for your carpets or effective for stain removal. Plus, using multiple products can lead to a dangerous chemical reaction.
Just as ‘what goes up, must come down,’ whatever you put into your carpet must come out again.
